About This Project
Establish an international AMOC monitoring network with standardized early warning indicators and national contingency planning requirements. Nations would be required to develop climate adaptation plans for AMOC slowdown scenarios, with the monitoring network providing standardized data to all participating governments. A rapid response fund would pre-position adaptive capacity for most at-risk populations in Europe, West Africa, and South Asia.
